This initiative strengthens the resilience and livelihoods of vulnerable rural communities through an integrated, climate smart approach that combines sustainable agriculture, improved livestock management, and targeted skills development. It promotes climate smart farming to enhance productivity and food security, supports livestock health for reliable income, encourages kitchen gardening to improve household nutrition, and provides vocational training to create employment opportunities, particularly for women and youth, alongside essential health and nutrition services. The project contributes to increased household income, diversified livelihoods, improved dietary diversity, stronger resilience to climate shocks, and better access to skills, jobs, and local markets, while also enhancing overall health outcomes.
