Fighting Malaria: Insights from ITN Distribution and Lessons Learnt Workshop

MERF – Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation, in collaboration with Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) and CMU, has successfully distributed millions of Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs) across malaria-endemic districts in Pakistan.

To further enhance future initiatives, a Lessons Learnt Workshop was held in Murree on February 13-14, 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to assess insights from these large-scale campaigns.

As part of our efforts, ITNs were distributed in flood-affected districts in 2022, providing protection to vulnerable communities. In 2023, a mass ITN distribution campaign covered Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Sindh, ensuring greater malaria protection in high-risk areas.
