Food Security is directly link to nutrition and health, as reflected in Sustainable Development Goals SDG1, SDG2, and SDG3. MERF focuses on key interventions to improve Food Security & its dimensions through Agriculture development programs, Food Security capacity-building, support for improved asset production e.g. Kitchen Gardening, Livestock, poultry, Income-generation cash transfer schemes, social environment and social support interventions, food literacy improvement regarding knowledge & practices at community level related to healthy food selections, cultural aspects that influence food utilization, choice, and allocation within the household and Land and Water Resources Management.
