The objective of this project is to improve the survival, growth, and well-being of children (0–59 months), school-age children (5-10 years) adolescents (10–19 years), and women in Sindh by strengthening equitable, gender-responsive, and integrated nutrition and early childhood development services across community, school and facility platforms. MERF will strengthen early childhood nutrition by promoting optimal breastfeeding, age-appropriate complementary feeding, and responsive caregiving, supporting caregivers through MIYCN counseling, practical demonstrations, and group parenting sessions based on UNICEF’s ECD Parenting Package. Through multisectoral coordination and community, school, and facility-based interventions, MERF will ensure provision of sustainable, high-quality nutrition and ECD services for vulnerable populations.
