MERF Granted Prestigious PCP Certification
Islamabad: Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation (MERF) has successfully been granted the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) Certification following the latest evaluation for the 2023 to 2025 evaluation period, with the certification remaining valid until 30 June 2029. This prestigious recognition reflects MERF’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability, sound governance, operational excellence, and high-quality program delivery.
The certification places MERF among a select group of national nonprofit organizations that have successfully met PCP’s rigorous standards for institutional governance, financial management, operational systems, and effective service delivery.
To commemorate this significant achievement, a cake cutting ceremony was held at the MERF Head Office in Islamabad, attended by the Country Senior Management Team and staff members. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Syed Shah Miran, Chief Executive Officer of MERF, congratulated the entire team for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and collective efforts in achieving this important milestone. He acknowledged that the certification is a testament to the hard work of MERF’s teams across the country and reinforces the organization’s commitment to delivering impactful, transparent, and accountable humanitarian and development programs.
