MERF Organizes Free Medical Camp in Sukkur to Improve Community Health

Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation (MERF), in partnership with the Health Department, Government of Sindh, and with the support of Scatec and its energy partners, successfully organized a free medical camp in Tehsil Saleh Pat, District Sukkur.

The camp provided General OPD services, led by experienced doctors and paramedical staff from the Sindh Health Department. Hundreds of patients, primarily women and children, benefitted from free consultations and essential medicines.

In addition, expert doctors conducted awareness sessions on public health, nutrition, and immunization. These sessions were well-attended by the local community, reflecting a strong interest in health education. The camp received an overwhelmingly positive response from local residents, who requested more such medical camps in the future.

MERF remains committed to working closely with provincial governments and strategic partners across Pakistan to enhance healthcare access and improve community well-being.
