The project provided treatment services based on the admission criteria outlined in the CMAM National Protocol for infants and children. It focused on severely acute malnourished children (0-59 months) who either lacked appetite or had medical complications. Infants aged 1-6 months who were severely acute malnourished or unable to breastfeed also received specialized inpatient care. Additionally, neonates who were visibly wasted, failing to gain weight, or unable to breastfeed were referred to the pediatric ward for further care and treatment.
