Under this 24-month project, funded by EU through IRC, MERF is enhancing facility based services through technical oversight and capacity building of service providers through community based outreach program designed to enhance knowledge, attitude and behavior relating to maternal and child nutrition in 5 districts of Sindh. During the first 12 months of the project, the outreach teams of MERF have screened and referred 73,118 children and 31,478 Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLWs) to OTP/SFP sites for nutritional support.
